Hampshire Open Studios is an art event that takes place annually across Hampshire. It involves hundreds of creatives opening up their homes, studios or creative spaces to the public and exhibiting their work.

This was the first year that me and the newly founded artist collective 'Artists Inspired by Nature'  got involved in Open Studios, and it was a fantastic experience that got us connected to our local community of artists and known amongst the local public.

The exhibition was curated in my back garden in the log cabin, which is a spacious long room that my mother uses as her art studio usually, but was emptied out for the purpose of this exhibition. The space was perfect, allowing all four of us to exhibit all of our work.

I exhibited my wildlife photography (including cards, prints and originals), the first 10 of my #100corals, and my octopus painting. I got some incredible feedback from the public on all of my work - I also made quite a few sales on my wildlife cards, prints and even sold some originals, which was an amazing feeling!

Overall the exhibition had brilliant feedback and we had over 200 visitors over the 2 weeks. Everyone who exhibited sold work and we became well known in our local community of artists.
